Unless you’ve completely removed yourself from today’s technology, I imagine you’ve sent and likely have received, as least one email today. But did you receive all of your emails that were sent to you? Did your recipient receive all of the emails you sent to them?

There is something magical about anticipating a new year or even a new season. We’ve come to associate the date change as bringing a new outlook on life or a fresh beginning. In our minds, a new year brings about new opportunities and positive change. Yet in reality, unless we do something intentional, the only thing that changes is the date.

Lately, I find myself thinking about goals a lot. Maybe it’s because I manage a lot of tasks and some days, though I’ve been busy all day, I’m not sure what I have accomplished. Perhaps it is because I’ve never been good at putting substance around my goals.
