September 22, 2015 - (Victor, NY) equaTEK announced today its plans to relocate their primary offices to East Rochester, NY. The company finalized an agreement to purchase a 7,000 sq. ft. commercial building located at 201 Main Street, East Rochester, which formerly housed The Shopping Bag.
The move is part of equaTEK’s long-term growth plan in the areas of custom software development, website development and internet/digital marketing solutions.
Having outgrown their space in Victor, NY, owners Ed Hanchett and David Madison are investing in a property that will support their continued growth.
The new space will include a dedicated recording studio for weekly video webcasts, and a training center for clients on equaTEK’s web content management platform called Interport. Plans also include a retro kitchen for monthly networking events.
"We determined that East Rochester is an excellent center for business development as the town has recently embraced a mission for revitalization," said Ed Hanchett, equaTEK co-owner. He went on to say that "the central location of East Rochester provides easy access to our company, and it supports our prioritization and committment to relationships."
The company expects to move in early-to-mid October.
