East Rochester Chamber of Commerce - their story with equaTEK
East Rochester Chamber is an organization in a small suburb of Rochester, NY. The town is growing economically with new businesses moving in every month. To go along with the new growth surge, East Rochester Chamber wanted a website that:
- Has an updated look
- Is easy for chamber members to use when they log in
- Has opportunities for members to promote their businesses
- Has a very user-friendly back-end for updating
The resulting website fulfilled all requirements and included:
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
- Google Analytics tracking
- Linking to Facebook
- Linking to LinkedIn
- A scrolling display of members' logos on the homepage
- A business directory that members can update on their own
East Rochester Chamber of Commerce had an older website that did not provide the professional and high quality appearance they desired. Additionally, ER Chamber has members joining throughout the year who want an Internet location where they can promote their business and have control over what is said about their business. Each member now has his own username, password, and business directory page.
TESTIMONIAL from Marty D’Ambrose, President of East Rochester Chamber of Commerce
"equaTEK Interactive has recently moved to the Town/Village of East Rochester. They immediately joined the Chamber of Commerce, and our board has personally benefitted by working with their staff on the development of our new web site. Ed Hanchett, David Madison, Sue Mayo-Smith, and Wendy Emerson have gone above and beyond to support the East Rochester Community and our Chamber by participating and sponsoring events as well as volunteering to serve on our board.
equaTEK’s knowledge and professionalism when presenting to our business leaders has been a huge success. I have personally learned a great deal about developing, maintaining and growing a website. I would without hesitation and with great confidence refer equaTEK to anyone who needs support for their website or online marketing."
